Interpretation Center for Steppe Birds of the Alto Guadiato SPA

The Information Point of the Alto Guadiato SPA is a space created to raise awareness of the environmental value of this protected territory, considered one of the most important areas for the conservation of steppe birds in Andalusia.

The facility was built by the Association of Municipalities of Alto Guadiato within the LIFE Program, with the aim of bringing visitors closer to the natural wealth, biodiversity and the particularities of this area included in the Natura 2000 Network.

At this information point it is possible to interpret the environment, learn about the most representative species and understand the importance of preserving these landscapes of pasture and traditional crops, essential for birds.

It is a highly recommended stop to complement ornithological routes and enjoy a more complete experience in contact with the nature of the Guadiato Valley.
