In the Plaza Mayor, near the Town Hall and in the urban heart of this town, stands the parish church of Nuestra Señora del Valle, built in 1950 by architects of the Comisaria de Regiones Devastadas. It has a single nave framed by transverse brick arches on columns and, on the outside, elements and shapes reminiscent of the Baroque style. Its oblique tower is reminiscent of the Cordovan churches of San Andrés and San Lorenzo.
It is of neo-baroque style and stands out, located to the left, its white tower with the bell tower, formed by a quadrangular prismatic body that supports a great balcony of four sides. The High Altar of the church is presided over by a polychrome wood carving of the patron saint of the municipality of Nuestra Señora de la O, better known as the Virgen del Valle, a work of some Castilian workshop of the early nineteenth century, which was restored in 2025.
In the white tower near the bell tower white storks nest every year, in June you can distinguish the new offspring of storks. The patron saint is San Isidro Labrador is all year in his hermitage in the meadow of Lodazal three kilometers from the municipality.
