The Hermitage of Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno, formerly the Church of San Miguel, is located on Doctor Miras Navarro Street, very close to the Modernist Palacete. This temple retains a great historical relevance, as during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries hosted meetings of the Council, forming part of the institutional life of the town.
In its interior it houses valuable devotional images, among them Jesús Nazareno, a candlestick image from the 18th century, and Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza, from the 20th century. It also highlights its main altarpiece, made of carved and polychrome wood in the second half of the eighteenth century.
The chapel also preserves two side chapels of interest: in the Gospel nave there is the Calvary altarpiece, also from the 18th century, while on the Epistle side there is another chapel with an altarpiece that houses a popular crucifix from the same period.
